Welcome to the Cruiser Connection. We hope to post fairly regularly and keep you
updated on our travels over the next almost 4 months. Although we have been thinking about making this trip "someday" for several years, we started making reservations and concrete
plans in early January when it was snowing and blowing outside. In early April we were able to make the final
campground reservations, for the National Parks in the Canadian Rockies. Now we are within days of leaving and we are
in the middle of getting the truck and trailer ready to go, as well as getting
food, clothes, and other miscellaneous things we will need gathered up and
packed. We have made several trips about
4 weeks long over the years, so we have many lists. But we’ve never been gone this long in one
stretch. We’re just trying to look at it
as 4 continuous trips!
Our Home Away From Home |
From there we head north for almost 3 weeks in the Canadian
Rockies: Kootenay, Banff, Lake Louise,
and Jasper National Parks. After doing lots of sightseeing, hiking and soaking in various hot springs we head home, dropping
south through Calgary into Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, the UP
and home. Tentative return date is
around Sept 20.
We are looking forward to this trip and sharing it with you.
